Question on Aircraft type Course training

Post by br801 »

Althought I had taken many Aircraft type sourse training in other country, I am still NOT regarded as having aircraft type endorsement on my AME M1/M2 license.
I just want to know if there are some trianing course in BC or nearby(accepted by TC). The B757-200 and B737-700/800 will be my first choice.
By the way, I am working as a delivery driver in Vancouver now..... :(
Any information will be great appreciated !

BCIT offers the 737-200 and the 757.
Cascade has the 757.
Westjet has the 737-200 and 700.

Alteon (Flightsaftey Boeing) in SEA has many of the current boeing courses available.

Yes! you are right, i just asked TC officer, they said TC had stoped do type endorsement for 4 years, now it only have rating on AME license. if you want to use your AME license working on aircraft, you have to provide the type training certificate to your employer, they will issue you ACA IAW specific company policy.
