#1 Post by CF-RYE » Tue Mar 02, 2004 1:14 pm

Wondering what the personal experience requirements are for an AME to start an AMO? Any info, comments or opinions on this subject are appreciated.

Found this info. Sounds not too bad.

(a) except as provided in (2), they shall have acquired a minimum of six years experience in the performance or direct supervision of maintenance activities of the type undertaken by the organization, at least six months of which shall have been obtained within the preceding two years;

(b) they shall have achieved a grade of not less than 70% in a Transport Canada multiple choice examination on the Canadian Aviation Regulations applicable to a Maintenance Manager;

(c) their personal record in relation to aviation shall not include;
