M1/M2 pilots?

Post by Turbofan »

Just curious if there are any maintenance people out there who also fly. I am talking about more than a PPL. I know there used to be helio guys that work on their machines. Are there any guys (or gals) that have both M1/M2 and ATPL that fly 704/705 equipment?

thanks
stay safe

Hey Twotter

I've ben reading your posts for a bit now and see you're on the Wet Coast. Just wondering if we've crossed paths in the past. ???

You 're flying again? So the B.C, economy is picking up??

Any TPA time?

BCIT? I'm from the old school of BCVS in Burnaby before they moved to the airport. Almost hate to say it but I'm from the class of the 30's (mid) can't give my identity away
cheers

Nope, no TPA time... The closest I came was flying into Seal Cove a few times... No BCIT either... Just the school of hard knocks..
If you are out here, I'm sure we have crossed paths...

I used to wrench for TPA in the early ninties until the bailif locked us out. I hear Rupert is pretty much a dead town now. Is H.Air still running there?

ya there are though busy flying have over 6000 hrs flying and ame

currency is the tough part the rules state must have 6months exp in the past 24 to maintain the right to sign out the books

hope that helps ps acording to the last info i found that out of the 26000
professional pilots cpl and atpl ony 1500 have an ame ticket there is a tendency for those to be on the helicopter side
