D & R Aviation Maintenance (Randy Butcher YTZ)

Post by bluenote »

Hi guys,

Just checking to see if anyone knows where I can find Randy Butcher the former owner of D and R maintenance that was based down at the island airport in Toronto. Just trying to pick his brain on a couple of airplanes he maintained.

I've read on avcanada that he might be working at Kelowna Aircraft at Hamilton.

Thanks

Randy has moved around .......

I heard he was also at Porter (as an FSR).

He did work in Hamilton prior to going to Bombardier.

But to answer your question: As an FSR he would be based out in the field (Ethiopian = africa).

You could contact Bombardier directly to find out.

Three years you've been looking for him. I
admire your persistence, if not your progress.

Only seven more years until he ties Osama
Bin Laden's world-wide "hide and go seek"
record!

I think you've just summed up bluenote's life in one sentence. Speaking of, isn't it time to be looking for a class 4 position again?

give me a break guys, life is not all about being an unerpaid, shit on class 4 flight instructor working 7 days a week getting paid 3 bucks an hour and no my flying interest has moved me away from the flight instructing profession if you call it that the way the instructors are being treated out there. I'm serious about finding Mr. Randy Butcher the former owner of D & R Aviation down at the Toronto Island airport to have a chat.

thank you

What's the weather like there? It's nuts
here. +23C today, and 4cm of snow tomorrow
and -9C tomorrow night.

April is just another month of crappy winter wx.

Last I heard Randy married an Ethiopian Princess. And if you know Randy that wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
