Is anyone having issues with new/overhauled MZ4220/4222 starters? It seems we are having a lot of problems with bendix's that will not engage.
I realize in a flight school the starters will take a beating but even still they are failing at an alarming rate. Any suggestions or thoughts.
thanks,

Try the Skytec NL series as a replacement.

starters and tubes always been a problem on those aircraft types.
The Lamars on the restart Cessna's are even worse. We tried sky tech but they were eating up ring gears.
