AMEs WISHING TO HOLD THE A&P LICENSE FROM FAA

Post by Northbayman »

Hello every one.
I went to the states 3 weeks ago in order to get the A&P license.
It's was a very nice surprise when the inspector told to me that around 800 Canadians AMEs were licensed last year (2010) with the FAA, and, on the last 4 months of the present year the number of Canadians applicants for the American License have been increasing.
My question is: Why the A&P License is getting more interest for part of our Licensed AMEs?
Can the A&P license offers security to our professionals AMEs in the States more than here?
