Cornwall Aviation Maintenance evaluation

Post by BrokenArrow »

Anyone had good or bad experience with Cornwall aviation?

I'd like to get my Piper Arrow IV annual inspection done there.

Are they turn-key, quick, thorough, quality of work?

Thanks.

Good people, good prices. They sometimes get pretty busy
with their own fleet, but are very good about working you in.

They've done about $120,000 in maintenance for me, over
the past 6 years.

I have heard nothing but good things about Steve and his shop. I moved a 1940's Tri-Pacer across a couple provinces that was maintained by him and it checked out fine! Steve is a stand up guy. I had walked into the shop mid-day, unannounced and asked for some help. He dropped everything and did some brake work for me right then and there for free. He wouldn't even let me buy him a beer or a coffee, so I had to jam some cash down his pocket!

Like I said, stand up guy!

By the way, if you're reading this, brakes worked fine for the entire trip! Thanks again!

From flying the Corwall ships for a few hours, I had no complaints. As Adam says, Steve is fantastic. Any small issue while I was there was answered by maintenace immediately. Bear in mind, I've only flown their a/c's however, I believe they treat everyone's airplane with the same fantastic respect.

Top notch facility, Steve has maintained many planes I have flown. The only downside is the hanger is a bit small. Some of the nicest people you will deal with in aviation.
