Link trainer, old school!!!

Post by Murdoch86 »

Does any school still use the Link trainer?

Is so, how much/hr?

I find they are really cool... Old School! And it feels pretty real to me. I think they would be great for basic instrument where the student does not understand attitude & movement.

We have a fully operational one; I've put in some time in it. The thing should be put away in a museum
I know there's better out there.

Thanks

Is it dark blue with yellow tail surfaces, just like they used to be?

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

i remember trying to hold my lunch in in one of those once upon a time. the motion was something akin to sitting in a spinning bucket flopping around on top of a broom stick
