FAA CPL to Class 4 Instructor with TC CPL

Post by keep_flyin »

Hi Guys
I have a FAA CPL and will be getting my TC CPL soon.
Now I would like to instruct but I wanted to know if instructing would be difficult here as I have done all of my training in the US and that too in Piper Cherokee. I am sure the manoeuvres won’t be that different but getting used to the new rules could take some time and money.

I have been leaning towards instructing wanted a second honest opinion on it. If not then I will have to look at other options.
If someone has taken this path, I would appreciate your advice.
Thank You

No, it wont be difficult. Once you get your licence converted to TC you will need to choose a school to do the Instructor rating and during the 30 hours training you will cover all the exercises required, hope this assists.
