Foreign Licence Conversion

Post by GAPILOT »

Hello everyone. Hope you're doing great. I would like to get some info about foreign licence conversions in Canada. I currently hold an Australian Private Pilot Licence with 125 hours of Total Aeronautical Experience, which includes 100.8 hours of Dual, 20.8 hours of solo and 4.1 hours of Instrument time. So if anybody could kindly guide me and tell me the steps for conversion, I would really appreciate it!

The requirements for a foreign license conversion are here: http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilaviation/r ... 7fd#421_26

Once you meet them, it's a matter of submitting the license application to TC (along with aupporting documentation), paying the fee and waiting.
