Regional Airlines - requirement

Post by YUL_Lover »

Hello everyone,

I am currently starting my CPL and will do after my ATPL. I am currently owning a University Degree in enginerring and a master degree also. I am wondering the requirement in term of education to enter major airlines in Canada? Since I dont think that a university (4 years courses) is a prerequisite do you think it give a certain advantage to a candidate posting on those jobs with the require flying time experience?

Thanks

Post secondary education is not mandatory but will always give you an edge when competing for a position against EQUALLY EXPERIENCED candidate.

Generally, the major players in Canada will list what those not mandatory but desired qualifications are:

- College aviation degree or Military flight explique
- Check pilot our training experience
- University diploma
- English and French language proficiency
- etc...
