Float Rating suggestions

Post by Hilroy »

Hi,

Any suggestions for a place to do my float rating this winter in Canada (preferably in december)?

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Float rating in Canada in the winter basically means west coast I'd think. Fort Langley Air is great and lots of neat stuff going on there right now with a couple Beavers you can do dual training on besides the usual Cessna 180. Island Coastal at Pitt is supposed to be great, I have no experience with them but I've met Tom and I wouldn't hesitate to use them. I think there are a couple options on Vancouver Island and I think Air-Hart out of Kelowna would probably work too.
