I wonder if this decision will change being able to do float training/ratings on Quamichan Lake?
Years ago when the rowing team moved to Elk Lake, there was a Cub? on Elk that subsequently moved concurrently with the powerboat restrictions.
Yes, there is lots of other water around, but given the proximity to YYJ, the availability of the dock at Raven field, and the relative calmness of the water, it was a great place to send students solo...

Time will tell, I guess..
