AIRAF EXAM in 1 week

Post by Horia1337 »

Good afternoon everyone, i am brand new on the forum but i have followed the discussions about the AIRAF exam for the past 1 year on this forum. I have seen a lot of topics made about what subjects are on the AIRAF exam like:
1) learning factors - what are they, how to apply them
2) questioning techniques, and good and bad questions
3) knowledge of CAR 421 (rec, ppl, night experience requirements)
4) a little knowledge of car 405/425/406/426: flight instruction
and FTU's.

/requirements for all licenses and ratings (types of hours) conversions between licenses, student attitudes, learning factors, basic theory of flight, Air law.
Briefly:

- the first 60 pages of the FIG. Understand
learning factors and their application, etc.

- CAR 421 experience requirements for Rec,
PPL, night, CPL.

The above will be on the test. Additionally, have
some limited knowledge of:

- Flight test guides for PPL, CPL.

- CAR 405/425 (flight training) and 406/426 (FTU's).

For example:
Are you aware of CAR 405.13/425.13?
How about CAR 405.14?
405.22?
405.31?
425.21?
425.23?

I have covered all of this and and would just like to know if any of you have done the exam recently if there are any other subjects or any tricky questions about the AIRAF. Thanks in advance.. :prayer: :prayer:

Hope it goes well for you. I remember it being the easiest exam I've ever written, but that was over 5 years ago. Looking at your list, it looks like your'e well prepared. I remember my exam asked a lot of questions about theory of flight and FIG material, like learning factors.
