Logging time in an Experimental?

Post by sendymcsendyface »

So a friend of mine has offered me the use of his Champ to build time towards my CPL. However, it was rebuilt, and registered as Amateur Built. So, does time logged in this aircraft still count towards my CPL? I can't seem to find any info online or in the CARs.
Thanks guys!

Yes it counts. Ultralights there's a maximum. Working on an amateur built doesn't count for an AME license though.
