The Class 2 written has a bit more of a focus on class 4 supervision requirements and CFI responsibilities. Basically they are testing you on the new priveliges you will obtain with the higher rating. Other than that, my recollection is that it has much of the same content as the Class 4 written. I would recommend the . practice exam book, seems to be the closest thing to TC exam questions. Even an old copy from a previous year would be fine, the instructor rating material has not changed in many years.

The AIRAT is for both the Class 1 and 2 with 80% or 70% pass marks respectively. I would suggest aiming for the 80% since it’s good for two years and maybe you can consider upgrading to a class 1 within said time.

I’ve had pretty good luck studying with the Sharper Edge instructor book. Expect a few more aerodynamics related questions especially surrounding stalls and slipping.

I did the exam a few months ago. Very similar to AIRAF but with maybe 5-10 more specific questions around class 1 and 2 privilege's. Used pilottraining.ca and found it quite helpful.
