I'm not sure of any that offer a diploma but you might have some luck with a place like conestoga college that packages a general college diploma with flight training from a local flying school. You could probably transfer a bunch of University credits and fly more often than in a structured program. Just a thought though, I didn't go there.

I think stinky hit the nail on the head with this one. It's too late to start at alot of the colleges because their programs that offer a diploma require multiple years to finnish.
Best of luck

Hi redhawkdown,
Just thought I would let you know that I am in the Brampton Flight College this year and I am really happy with my choice. I am new to this forum and I am not sure what others have said about Brampton, but from my own personal experience the diploma program has everything in it that you need and more. I took some time to choose a program and after visiting the school and meeting the instructors and ground staff I was happy with my decision.
The College program is well structured and intense, and is suited to individuals who already have higher education and are looking for one year programs.
It can be a hard decision to choose a flight college, but the only advice I can give you is to go and see them. All to often the glossy advert is not what you get.
I hope this helps you
P.S A student from last years program at Brampton won the top amateur pilot of Canada award - so it can't be bad!
Good Luck.

Can I read this at the next poetry slam?redhawkdown wrote:Hello, flyers
I am new to this forum.
Actually, I visiting this forum for a year,
but it is first time for posting.
The reason for the post is that I need some expert's advice.
I was planning to do my flight after I finish off my university,
but I decide to take the other approach.
I just finished my 2 years of university and
now I am looking for a flight school that would get me
PPL-CPL-Multi etc.. within a year.
I would need a diploma from the school
even though I will get a university degree.
Does anyone know a school that offers
the rating within a year and a diploma?
I was thinking to go to BFC with the diploma program,
but it looks there aren't many BFC fans in this forum.
Can anyone recommend me a flight school that offers a diploma?
