Perimeter Aviation

Post by maniac779 »

I was just wondering if anyone did their Multi or Multi-IFR training at Perimeter Aviation in Winnipeg. If so, what were your impressions of the place? Good, bad, ugly???

Thanks...

Perimeter is one of the best IFR schools in the country - I'm biased, I taught there.
Compared to the IFR I did at MFC, Perimeter is far better. The equipment is first class (planes have HSI,RMI, IFR cert GPS, Cert for known iceing, all slaved and autopilot) good sims and knowedgeable staff.

The only thing is dont expect to get spoon fed your IFR - You have to come there with your written complete. They dont prepare you in any way for the written. They prepare you for the ride.
