FAA ATP ride
Anyone know if anyone in Ontario/Quebec is aurthorized to do them anymore? If not, anyone know of a flight school close to the border that does them?
Re: FAA ATP ride
You don't need to do one. Under the new rules, your
Canuck ATPL converts to an FAA ATP with only a class
1 medical and a weird little written test.

I do need to do one... it's a long story... I've got the exam finished, just trying to find a place that I can get the ride done without having to drive to ATP in Trenton

Re: FAA ATP ride
Also interested in whether this is avail in Western Canada somewhere? Can it be with an FAA check airman on a C registered aircraft, or does it have to be N registered?
Re: FAA ATP ride
Doesnt need to be an N reg. But it needs to be with an FAA inspector.
Re: FAA ATP ride
Hedley, can you elaborate?
I'm looking at doing this for poops and giggles next time I go to sim. Also, how hard are the exams? is there a Gleims for it where i can memorize the answers?
Sorry for the all questions and no answers.
