Hi, a quick search didn't show much, so I'll try here. Can anyone tell me if the UFV has a CPL (etc) program that is based in YYJ? I'm hearing a rumour or two that indicates they do...thanks!

I know I'm the lone voice in the wilderness on this, but ...

Don't go to University to learn how to fly an airplane,
operate a bulldozer, or weld. All of those are very useful
skills, but that's not what a University teaches.

Go to University and learn about mathematics, physics,
chemistry, biology, etc.

No self-respecting University will give you a degree in
operating a forklift or a crane or an aircraft. That's what
vocational, or trade schools are for. Trade schools will
issue certificates of completion when you finish their
training course. Some of the more grandiose ones will
issue you a diploma, like you received at the end of grade 12.

Fortunately one does not need to go to school that long to be a successful pilot.

If you can read and write and count your fingers and toes, see lightening and hear thunder you can become a pilot and fly for a living.

If you are marginal at being a pilot and are having difficulty figuring out how to fly you can go to T.C and you are golden as far as income and retirement goes.

You may be confusing it with the UVIC DBA program through the Victoria Flying Club.
