Hello all,

Long-time lurker here and first off thanks to everyone for the wealth of information that's embedded in these forums!

For all those going to interviews and having become new hires recently I was hoping to ask what the timeline has been like from Web Application to first email from the company throughout this past summer?

I've been hoping for the initial interview email since late spring and updating the profile regularly, but just curious if I should be considering myself under-qualified.

Thanks!

That’s a hard question because it will vary a lot. My understanding is your application gets scored on some sort of matrix and then put in a pile with the rest in order. When they need people they draw from the top. Applicants after you but who score higher will be drawn from the pile ahead of you. I only wish there was a way to look into where you stand in line while you wait (HR would love to see the same for your sake) but there’s no easy way to do this that’s guaranteed to not cause conflict.

For me it was something like 14 months from initial application to job offer with the interview right in the middle and a whole lot of radio silence in between.

Any word on what they were assigned for equipment?

RP courses with open FO seats... what a waste.

I actually think it’s quite nice for the new hire to not be forced to use their WB FO course right in PIT.

It would be better if there were no RPs.

Hi everyone,

Is there ANY information about upcoming ground schools? I’ve been waiting 7 weeks since my interview, I know lots of guys who are currently at 12-14 weeks and we’re all aware that the last equipment bid says there’s a need for 800+ new hires by next summer... but no one knows what the hiring looks like for the rest of the year??

What’s up?

Are they still doing video interviews? I heard a rumor they have gotten rid of the video interview and are going straight to the in person interview
