Well they're not super unreasonable...if you told them you're going to get some new glasses, you might just have to come back and get re-tested. Or they might wonder why you've been flying around without glasses that are legal...

Re: Air Canada Medical
When I did my new hire medical, my glasses wouldn't correct my left eye above 20/40. All they required of me was to go see my optometrist and get a new prescription and to give them the optometry report.

You can get new glasses in a hour at the mall.bimbambym wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 2:55 pm i have a medical exam scheduled and i’ve seen online that they do a vision test... the problem is that my eye sight has worsen a lot and my glasses are really not up to date but i cant get new glasses by the time i have the medical test bc all the optometrist i’ve contacted are booked... Do you guys think i’m gonna be okay? Or because of this and since i wont be able to pass the vision test they wont consider me and wont hire me?
