Re: My ID Travel
The booking is much easier now. No need to wait for long periods of time on hold or have to deal with trained agents who have no clue how to book a zed ticket.
But...I chose my routing based on green smiley faces for load factors. Discovered on check-in less than 24 hours later that both flights were oversold. Still made it on both flights due to no-shows(so it worked) but....it would be interesting to know how a smiley face is determined.

Re: My ID Travel
If you have FB, join some of the loadshare groups. I always get the actual loads when I can and stick to airlines that have people who are members of the group and can get said loads.
Re: My ID Travel
Also if you look up how to decipher some of the jargon on the site, like J0Y3O9 etc that helps too.

Green = more than 8 seats available I believepelmet wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 8:11 pm The booking is much easier now. No need to wait for long periods of time on hold or have to deal with trained agents who have no clue how to book a zed ticket.

Yellow = between 0 and 9 seats available
Red = no seats available
That seems to be my experience with it. Not sure if it is always like this.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Re: My ID Travel
I believe this is correct. The problem is that it only shows total chairs available. Some airlines won't allow non-rev to sit in business class etc.
This is the best way (short of the StaffTraveller app or Facebook non-rev group). If you spend a couple of minutes you can figure out how many of each fare are available. Just remember that it will show several fare codes for economy seats. I used to have a breakdown of what each meant but when I left my old airline, I don't think I remembered to save it.
