...Seems they are going to remove the axe and the control column from the cockpits for security reasons.

How so?

Not that I disagree... We are only worth as much as we value ourselves.

Value ourselves poorly and we give it up.

I’d be amazed if you guys get more than 2%. I hope you do but no one north of the border is getting big wage increases these days. 2% is all we got at Jazz.... till 2035.

Do you count movement? I've had my wages steadily increase 15% year over year for the last 5 years. 24% of that increase was in the last 12 months at the same company.

I guess that's the only tangible benefit of being non-union.

Otherwise if you're sitting flying the same metal, yeah no one has big jumps in salary.

Me too... 2% it will be for now.

We can try to negotiate better, in 2020 & 2023, but I'd be surprised if it's achievable since we threw away any leverage until 2024 and the company will want a kings ransom to trade for an increase.

We might see a few pennies more in 320 pay with more 321s coming to both sides of the operation... we could always arbitrate the way our formula pay is weighted, but that even is supposed to be cost neutral so you lose it elsewhere...

We need to hold the line on whatever the company wants to take from us, take gains in expenses, benefits, and TBP pension - the 3 non cost neutral items - and wait until 2024... of course that's probably around the time the economy will be deep in the tank and we'll get f-all anyway... but here's hoping we can keep what we have and start to get the pressure on...

2.4% not including fuel, housing, transportation, or the actual cost of living...
