The Miracle on Dixon
In what can only be described as a miracle like no other, 2023 for recalls became 2021. The "Miracle on the Hudson" has nothing on what just happened on Dixon Road and Sully himself must be wondering if there is a book deal in the works. In a mere two months, the tide has turned so quick ACPA should install tidal generators to pay for the electricity required to create all this hot air.
"The Art of the Deal" - move over - ACPA's release of "The Silent but Deadly Fart of a Deal" is out & will undoubtedly receive accolades from pilots throughout industry. While the entire Jazz pilot contingent are busy retraining after receiving CEWS for over a year & US legacy carriers ramp up hiring - we are under hostage negotiations. Leverage gifts from the government be dammed - this pilot group has a proverbial gun to its head.

Contract violations are apparently back en vogue as crew planning offered vacation buybacks despite it being written black & white in a collective agreement that it is not permitted with furloughs. Apparently "black & white is the new grey" at ACPA and fellow members of the asylum are now referred to as "dip shits" as per the new official spokesman "Baghdad Dan". Baghdad Bob - move over - you might have made up stories of American defeat as tanks rolled in - we got our very own storyteller with fables of Air Transat getting into cargo.
The good news is that we will soon have 300 more "dipshits" in the mix soon. And if you are a Maple Leafs fan or hate your family and are from out west - and you are among the first lucky 300 contestants - THEN COME ON DOWN - you are the next contestant on The Seniority Number is Right!
While theatrics make for a good wrestling match - the continual beat downs are as reliable as Hulk Hogan going off the top ropes at a Wrestlemania. The fact this union is continually outmatched and out maneuvered is more alarming than a recently single near retirement age flight attendant asking to see your room. It should ring alarm bells that deafen even the most clueless captain who pulls out photos of his lake cottage & boat to the flat pay pilot renting a shoebox on reserve. We have a company that negotiates with the lives of furloughs who are relying on an organization that continues to produce performances that would get nominated in The Razzies - Does anyone know if Tara Reid is available? - we got a full series of potential screenplay. The reality series "Love Island" step aside - we got "ACPA Island" and there will be a whole lot more screwing going on.
It is troubling to watch an administration that makes Vichy France look like patriotic heros. Let's just wave white flags to surrender in fear as committees capitulate to demands and guillotine profession loyalists - oh I mean ACPA dissidents
The "Miracle on Dixon" was no miracle - it was all just a ploy and serves as yet another wake up call to a lethargic group. How are contingents that fabricate rhetoric not challenged - something that makes the likes of Captain Obvious scratch his head. How can the supreme leaders continue this direction because it would be a miracle at this point to see anything different coming out of this group.
