Hi,

I have an interview at Air Canada for the position of E-Business Solutions Developer – Contractual very soon.
What kind of questions do they ask.
I found the job at my university job listing, they don't seem to be looking for job experiences since those postings are just for recent/fresh graduates.
Will they go technical on software? Have you ever had an interview for this position?

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

Args, I would post my question as a separate topic. I don't think that the people that could answer your question are reading this thread.

The blood work also shows cholesterol numbers.

Flyflyaway,

The medical invitation is a good thing for sure. Just so you know I have a good friend that was turned down after going for a medical.

Hope that helps and good luck.

Does AC hire pilots who have no multi-turbine pic? The few people that were called for interviews from my company all had multi-turbine PIC.

I'm in the same boat, reapply within 6 months, I was told the only way is the same as everyone else. Just keep your file on the website up to date. Apparently as you gain experience and tic off more boxes you may get another opportunity. Although I don't know anyone who has had a second chance yet, most of them went to other carriers.

Can anyone comment on the likelyhood of getting a second chance with AC after you've interviewed once?

If guys are getting calls, not making it through and then never hearing from AC again, that worries me. Is there some sort of a "one strike/once chance to bat" policy with HR?

I wonder if its best to hold off applying until you are sure you have enough experience to get through?

Ive had a couple friends recently who have gotten calls back from AC after getting pfo'd over a year ago asking to go back for another medical and asking if they are still interested. Food for thought..

I wouldn't worry about not getting another shot. Apply, do your best, best to do it now while the going is good in the industry, or the bubble may burst and you may regret having to wait till the next wave.

Glad to hear second callbacks are not unheard of. I guess the best thing to do is apply, and keep your online profile up to date and hope for the best. Thanks for the tips guys.

Hello,

Judging by the fact that there are no new posts regarding any current hiring activity, is it safe to assume that Air Canada has stopped hiring pilots? It is just very interesting to see no activity considering the history of the post. Does anybody have any insight into when, or if, Air Canada will be holding any new classes? Maybe the turmoil surrounding contract negotiations has put a freeze on hiring.
