AC Stock Price

Post by Johnny#5 »

So I bought some AC stock 4-5 months ago and have done quite well though I wish I had bought more...

Is it still a good time to buy or is this a bit of a peak for now?

Is insider trading legal if I don't know you?

In investing keep to your discipline ie if you are happy with a 30% gain let half get sold and sell the rest later as you see fit.

In TFSA you keep the gain as well in a self directed RRSP same thing

Above all remember this saying "Bulls make money, Bears make money Pigs get slaughtered"!

Last week one or several insiders unloaded almost a half million dollars worth of shares. I'd say if you made a profit, head for the hills. Aviation is rarely a sound long term investment.

It's called rebalancing. If the insider(s) knew something bad would happen, a lot more shares than 500k's worth would be sold...

Having said that, tread carefully. Stock price shot up 800% in last 2 years, but earnings are lagging, barely breaking even, if that. This stock is going up on hope more than anything. Just like every single stock market in the Western world, too, I may add...

"Exuberance" is soon followed by a crash. Remember that.

I like watermeth's advice. The picture will be clearer in the spring. Same with the ECB, The Fed, and the BoC.
