Original post deleted.

I doubt that the TA details nor the debate can be bottled up. But that is up to the ACPA pilots.

Good luck.

$10,000 x 3000 pilots = $30,000,000 (that's $30 million???? unless my calculator is on the frit$$)

Take it, run, hide don't tell anybody :weedman:

Layoffs? Hardly.

900 hour pay annual guarantee for 2014/2015/2016.

While this has the appearance of a lopsided deal, I highly doubt that Calin suddenly decided to empty the vault without getting value in return.

Keep watching, the show is just beginning.

I for sure will believe that CR knows what he's doing. And I wish all the best to AC pilots, truly.
question is why such a deal all of a sudden ?

I'm also genuinely curious to know what is about to begin :D

So every current pilot gets 10k in December? Would a new hire get this as well? Just don't understand it.

Rudder, thanks for posting.

Well done AC pilots. I am curious why the company wanted to open the agreement and why it is all of a sudden so generous.

The company gets a stable workforce for 10 years and can get better financing on jets. From what I'm told.

- pilot labour stability
- pilot cost certainty and partial avoidance of compounding by paying lump sums
- template for pattern bargaining with other AC unions
- ability to substitute aircraft at Rouge
- ability to implement AC Express fleet plan
- ability to implement JV and codeshare plan

I'd think labour stability = $$$$ and everything else rudder said.

Don't be blinded by the signing bonus. There are some details coming to light that seem to indicate this may not be quite as good a deal as some think. Lots of questions still left to be answered.....
