Encore requirements 2017

Post by final28 »

Does anyone know if the hours listed in job postings (1500 total etc.) are absolutely firm? Are there chances of being hired with less hours but ATPL exams written?

As I understand it, no you will not be hired and start initial training without meeting all requirements, however with the flightpath program you may be able to begin training as soon as you have the hours (theoretically). If you meet the requirements for flightpath, you can interview and be placed in a pool, and once you have the time you can get a course.

Approx. how long is the flow through to mainline 737? Is there a minimum years of service you have to commit to on the q400?
