What a nice idea. The sort of thing that gives one faith and trust in management and goes a little way toward showing culture is more than just a word.

Highly unlikely!
I look at the last profit share announcement email from Mr. Sims as a good indicator. Through genius management they were able to produce record profits while dealing with the max grounding. Then two paragraphs later a spiel about how us “westjetters” are lucky to have jobs and not be laid off as a result of the grounding....

Apparently it was mentioned in a ground school that WJ/Onex would do the same. Not holding my breath.
