Waste of Money

Post by Arthur Q »

To any pilots going for a Westjet interview. Do not buy" Preparing for the Westjet interview" Friend of mine just had an interview and said it was a waste of money. Not one question from the book was asked. He said he can't believe he wasted $ 30+ dollars on it. Just another group of people trying to make money off of pilots who can least afford it bootyshake

About Behavioral Interviews – A very quick overview!

Behavioral interviews look to predict your performance based on your previous behavior. The interview consist of a series of questions that will put you in a common situation. You are then expected to provide a specific example of when you were in the given situation, what you did and what the result was. This is best identified by: STAR

S/T = Situation/Task *What exactly was the situation (be specific)

A = Action * What action you took to deal with the situation

R= Results * What was the result that occurred due to your action

Thats different several months ago when I had my interview almost all the questions came out of the book. The main thing to remember is those books are to help you prepare and get you in the train of thought for the interview process.
