Re: Boeing 737NG simulator seeking pilot...
Hi all...
Its a long time I did not came here...
I am going to Cuba with Westjet departure 12 of april Flight WS683 to toronto and WS2504 to Cuba.
Return is 26 of April WS2505 and WS684
Could I hope to have the chance to visit the cockpit there? Are you or do you know the pilot who will be in the cockpit on these flights?
I imagine you understand my excitement of visiting the cockpit if it is possible.
Thank you to help...
Alain

Hey Alain. Just ask the FA if you could go visit and it shouldn't be a problem. In fact, as soon as you walk up to the gate, ask the CSA if he/she could ask the pilot's if you could go down and see how they do all the setups/checklists and the CSA may just scan you through early and be able to go down before they start the official boarding.

Hi Alain,
I'll try to see if I can figure out who's working those flights and give them your contact info. Can't guarantee I'll be successful but you never know. Either way good luck and have fun!

Ground air supplying depends on the cart but could be as high as 50-60 psi on the left needle only when the isolation valve is not in the OPEN position. When the isolation valve is placed in the open position it normally goes to half on the left and right. So left and right would read about 20-30 psi on both left and right needles. Yes a the ground is sufficient to run both packs. Hope this helps.alphatango wrote:Hi to all!
It's a very long time I did not post here. So now a big question. My friend is working on the overhead logic and he would like to know these things. If someone may help us ...
Thank you once more
Alain
When the ground air unit is supplying the aircraft with air what is the left PSI avalaible on the bleed air gauge?
Does this air can be tranfert to the other side with the isolation valve? If so, what would be the PSI on both side? And finally, is this air is sufficient to use the packs?
