I would imagine that April Fools prank generated at least a few hundred thousand bucks worth of free, positive advertising, and reinforced WJ's brand in the minds of everyone who saw it, especially compared to the sort of airline stories we've seen in recent weeks.

I had about 2 dozen Google Alerts on that release from various Canadian and US newspapers.

It was perfect fodder for slow Sunday evening newscasts from coast to coast.

Global BC gave the story about 90 seconds on the Sunday evening news. What does 90 seconds of free advertising cost these days on the #1 news broadcast in BC?

He did get a laugh out of me, the first time. I even posted that I thought it was funny. Then he went all snotty and hissy on me, and reposted the video from another thread and rode another poster's coat tails just for the attention. I don't tolerate that crap well, my 2 year olds have more respect than that.

Let me see...1 of 14 posts have been retracted, 5 of 14 are mine, that means there are 8 other posts in this thread still. Nice math skills, can you calculate a proper fuel burn too?

Then I've succeeded at my goal. Eat me with ketchup and mustard.

Sorry, my apologies, for the slower members on the board i should have been a little more specific. Let me try again....

I see no reason for me to edit my comments, they're still as valid as when I typed them. Besides, I have no doubt that the mods will be in here shortly to delete them anyways.
