The question is vague... We need "A" The raunchiest Rockin voice. as compared with "B" an actual talented signing voice etc....
Brian Johnson is definitely the most recognizeable voice. With close seconds.... Sammy Hagar.
The most enduring voice would have to go to Robert Plant, perhaps tied with Mick...
But for an actual talent with a real singing voice.... Rod for sure!
Then there's that Rob guy (you know.... Matchbox 20 etc...)

As far as most talented voice- Roy Orbison.
Four octaves worth of range, baby!
Dickinson does fucking rule though. Saw Maiden in concert in 2001- to this day they are the epitomy of metal. I wonder if Bruce bought a PPC for the bizjet he flies. I doubt it.

My vote goes to Buddy Holly for best voice in rock and roll, followed closely by Roy Orbison.
Modern rock and roll-Probably Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden. Unmistakable voice.
Neil Diamond should fit in there somewhere too. Not that I like Neil Diamond, but Live at the Greek was a really good album. My parents used to love that album.

Agree with istp re Roy Orbison. Also like Dennis DeYoung, from Styx.
Didn't Bruce Dickinson used to fly the 737 for Astraeus? Dunno whether he was a Captain or F/O.
