Never actually worked for them, but I've worked next to their cementers and their sperry/sun MWD guys. Don't know too much about the company's specifics.

What kinda position are you up for?

I haven't worked with the Haliburton boys for a long time. Last time oil tanked (it can happen people) they packed up their shop laid everyone off and left town. Now none of the companies down here will use them. They have an awful reputation in SE Sask. I'm not sure how it is in Alberta though. Just a little note, some local nut job shot up the halliburton shop down here because he said the trucks made too much noise noise in the morning

If you can choose cementing or coil I'd go cementing. quicker jobs and better pay.

Don't know much about them but was offered an interview for a Logistics Manager job in the Middle East.

Had I known what my situation would be today, I would have taken it...Especially if the salary was what was quoted on Vault.com...

Now that the stats for "Haliburton" have been given, perhaps we could see the ones for "Rue De Lyonnaise". Oh by the way, Cheney has nothing to do with the latter.

The Stat concerning the wages in Iraq is pure 100% bullshit, UNLESS someone considers driving a semi for $125,000 USD and ALL expenses + airfare, per year, tax free is "slave wages". Also include "Safety Boss Oilfield FireFighting Services, Red Deer, AB in that group and approximately 15,000 other Canadians working worldwide for them. I have YET to work with or work for ANYBODY with Haliburton over the last 30 years who wasn't doubling or tripling my salary......and I don't do "shabby" myself.
