You are certainly entitled to your opinion that these women do not deserve respect.
That isn't my opinion at all lil. My opinion is that all women deserve respect. They just don't deserve more for flying an airplane or more for being women. Anywho...enough on that!

Until "they" get the same ride as you got.... Yes they do. It's harder for them as things stand now in our industry, to 'make it' takes more.

stl
PROVE THAT!! Not by opinion, but by fact. Yep, Calling you out on this one STL. Show me conclusive irrefutable evidence that that is the case.
I have two daughters, both flying with AA that claim their "ride" was alot less frought with peril than was mine. No, I had no influence on their careers.
I am not a pilot, I am an AME, so you may think this is irrelevant to the thread. However, that being said... I KNOW FOR A FACT that I had to claw and fight to get to where I am now. Yes my struggle was in fact harder than that of the male aprentices I worked with. Trying to break into the "old boys club" that aviation is, was extreemly difficult. Having said that, I'm NOT looking for codling, don't treat me specially, I want no special priviledges. Just quit calling me honney, let me do my job, and acnowledge the fact that my trip here might not have been as sunny and bright as yours has.
And that's just my thing... perhaps It was better for others, I don't know that. Take it or dissregard it as you like.
flyingphil -------a small correction sir. In the 1930's of Canada and the US, my mother the female pilot looking for a flying position, knew all about being on the 'front lines of equal Rights' for women........and that's all she wanted was to be considered EQUAL. She had to demonstrate her 'equality' every time she left the ground until she had shoved it down enough throats that she was.........and then they shut up begrudingly. Oh yeah......she knew all about 'the front lines' on that issue.
