Last visit to Timbo's: August 2007. Cup of Starbucks triple shot mocha: Priceless...
Drinking lots of coffee lately, at a nice safe jungle desk, wishing I were flying......

Last visit to Timmies: August 2007 just outside Montreal.
Last time I enjoyed a timmies cup? This morning.
I can't thank the fellow from BC enough, who sent 10 cans and 10 travel mugs to me and my guys.
I'm also a proud owner of a cammie tim hortons hat!

Re: An so it begins....Roll up the rim
I saw the saddest thing the other day. While standing in line, to order myself a coffee, the person in front of me had a thermos to fill up with coffee. The lady working that till, took a small roll up the rim cup, put the cream and sugar in it, poured it into the thermos, then went to the coffee machine, put a bit of coffee in the cup, swished it around, then poured it into the thermos. What she did next, I can still hardly believe - I was in shock. She THREW THE CUP OUT. Didn't even check the rim! I mean, could have given it to the customer even, and that customer might have won a coffee, or a donut, or even, a CAR! I know what I'll be doing my next night off
.. I wonder if they lock the dumpsters....

Re: An so it begins....Roll up the rim
Ok do your chances of winning actually increase with the size of the cup? If yes anyone have any stats or proof?

I used to like Tims coffee.
Then I started the expat life and enjoy the drink in countries that have been been brewing it for far longer than Canada has been a country.
My opinion of Tims now? You don't want to hear it.

Re: An so it begins....Roll up the rim
Your chances don't increase with the size of cup, you can get the information from Tims about the number of winners per cup. As for the story about the roll up cup being thrown out, that was a poorly trained employee, you're supposed to do the sugar and mixing and everything in a brown cup. If you screw up while using a roll up cup you are supposed to throw the cup in a special bin, the cups go to the store owner, I think they check the rims so they can report to head office about what went through, and then they were destroyed, ie: put in the fire.
