Global Warming Nutbars Say .... "Its Time To Eat Your Dog!"
Pets are environmentally a disaster ... not "Green Party Friendly."
Just my luck, I spent good money about 2 weeks ago to buy a tri-cloured Border Collie cross mixed breed from a pet rescue centre. So, after 30 years, I'm a dog owner again. Little did I know just how harmful to Mother Gaia I'm being by rescuing that consumerism-driven canine.
Its time to Kill, clean, and cook up Rover & Fluffy on the BBQ and feed them to the kids!
Here's an excerpt to whet your curiosity ...
How green is your pet?
SHOULD owning a Great Dane make you as much of an eco-outcast as an SUV driver? Yes it should, say Robert and Brenda Vale, two architects who specialize in sustainable living at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. In their new book, "Time to Eat the Dog: The real guide to sustainable living," they compare the ecological footprints of a menagerie of popular pets with those of various other lifestyle choices - and the critters do not fare well.
As well as guzzling resources, cats and dogs devastate wildlife populations, spread disease and add to pollution. It is time to take eco-stock of our pets.
So, I say ... "praise the Lord of Global Warming, and pass the BBQ sauce."

EDIT ... adding this link to youtube where a western pert-owner eats at Beijing's number 1 Dog Restaurant ... this could be your future supper ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MVPGyzRN1c

The Koreans began doing their bit for climate change before it became popular, then?

They were way ahead of their time, and highly visionary Siddley.
Here's another link that will delight the purveyors of so-called "Man-Made Global Warming" with respect to the amount of energy used to make Fifi, Fluffy and Fido so fat.
Parody song .. "There's a Cat In The Kettle At The Peking Moon" .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOy2QCssTaI
Use that protein to good advantage.
What you don't eat will go to the anti-consumerism Freegans that are outside hanging around the dumpster, so I guess its not really wasted if you can't eat all of your dog in one sitting.

Just wait a couple of more years and....
Det. Thorn: It's people. Soylent Green is made out of people. They're making our food out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food. You've gotta tell them. You've gotta tell them!
Hatcher: I promise, Tiger. I promise. I'll tell the exchange.
Det. Thorn: You tell everybody. Listen to me, Hatcher. You've gotta tell them! Soylent Green is people! We've gotta stop them somehow!

HA! Who's the uncivilized asshats now?! I never had dogs before since Hong Kong out law it long time ago and I'm not about to cook my neighbour's dogs (all tho I wish the dog from across the street get eaten by a bear).
