They're already understaffed, why would this make sense? Tbay and Winnipeg had NOTAMS the other day stating delays in receiving IFR clearances by up to (IIRC) 15 minutes due to understaffing.

Like the limited slots available for IFR training in big city centers. I remember having to wake up at 7am for 11am flight just to try to get one of the 2 or 3 slots. Sometimes I didn't get them and had to cancel. Quite frustrating.digits_ wrote:^ This.
