Transair Winnipeg Viscount

Post by Antique Pilot »

Here is the first Viscount purchased by TCA in 1954 CF-TGI. It was sold to Transair in 1963 and withdrawn from use in 1971. Scrapped sometime after September 1973.

This airplane used to be parked between 2 hangars on the East ramp at Winnipeg International back in the early 70s. At that time it had been repainted in the the Transair Yellow and Brown livery. As a kid we used to sneak into it via the belly hatch.
