Give your head a shake tsgas.

No other country has a program like this, screwing their own nationals and residents and ignoring their own laws... Canuckistan... Unreal.

No foreign national should work in any developed country without appropriate status and licensing. Canada is the only one allowing it... WTF!

Personally, I don't give a s*it about the regulations of other countries regarding this asinine argument over the licencing of foreign pilots, which has gone on for far to long in this country as far as I'm concerned. Far too many out there trying to justify the bogus practice on the part of Canadian ministers and bureaucrats including Sunwing, who seem to think the hiring and use of foreign pilots in Canada is somehow justifiable and okay.
It isn't!!!
Anyone trying to defend the practice simply isn't a Canadian pilot or has their head up their arse.
We have more than enough suitably qualified Canadian pilots who are more than capable of being employed by companies like Sunwing. Period.
This fuctup practice of using TFW pilots is simply indefensible and utter B.S.
How difficult is this issue for some Canadian pilots to understand?
You'd think there'd be a mob of angry Canadian pilots up on parliament hill with pitch forks, sickles, rakes and ropes, with effigies of JT and Mr. Spaceman and a plethora of burning torches.
But no, that wouldn't be Canadian. American maybe, but not Canadian.
Canadian apathy is unmistakeable.

P.S. I have no issue whatsoever with Wet Lease or ACMI, if any Canadian carrier wishes to go that route. It's the slimy practice of sneaking in foreign pilots under the pretense of Canada not having a sufficient number of qualified pilots from which to choose that's particularly disgusting. BTW, the bucket and spade brigade in Europe have similar travel habits in winter as the Snowbirds in Canada. South in winter, East West in summer. The reciprocity is another B.S. line some seem to buy into. Try reading OAG or ATW to get up to speed with the numbers if you think it's a good thing Canadian pilots get to go fly in Europe during summer.
