I didn't slag Canadian training. I was slagging the Canadian industry mindset of cutting corners as a business plan. MFC I'm sure is a fine program, but it would only be a tiny fraction of what a national airline cadet training program is. The real cost comes from the extensive airline sim training and line training. Something that is in place with airlines like Singapore, Emirates, Cathay but yet to be seen how it is implemented in the Sunwing program.
