I've seen more gum-wrappers than there is reading lights stuffed in rattling PSUs on Jazz machines before.

ACM's that sounded like chain-saws and squealing cargo door seals that deafen the whole Dash.

Glass houses gang. Whine whine

Old planes are old planes. Does not matter if they are props or jets. Also, first generation of most aircraft types are somewhat unrefined. Improvements are implemented in later generations. Q400 is certainly a good example of that.

When the Sky tails came to Jazz there were definitely a lot of issues with the Huds. Pretty much all corrected now I believe. I’ve never had one with an FMS disconnect at a waypoint. The reason Jazz pilots don’t like flying them has nothing to do with SKY. It’s simply they are older planes with more hours on them and not Next Gen and the benefits that come with that

In the most recent AC quarterly Management Discussion and Analysis, the Express fleet chart shows Georgian as ‘other’ when it references the operator of 14 CRJ200’s. It only mentions Georgian and EVAS by name in a footnote as operators of a combined fleet of 14 B1900’s.

I recently had a Air Canada Captain ask me "Who is Maple?". Just because regional flying is our whole world does not mean it is everyone else's.

The best thing that could happen for the Express pilots collectively is to be reintegrated into a single operation combined with a more substantial and transparent career path opportunity to AC.

In the meantime, multiple Express pilot groups are signing their ALPA cards and progressing to the bargaining phase. AC is stuck in an observer role as some less than experienced vendor management teams deal with unionization. AC is paying for redundancy of overhead using 4 partners doing the work that could easily be accomplished by just 1 with the requisite existing infrastructure.

The current Express model is not the best model for either the Express pilots or for AC.

I left EVAS out on purpose. Show me a photo of any of their planes painted in Express colors please.

Oh and now you can go from EVAS to Jazz on the "Jazz pilot pathway" program. Lol.

If I wanted a Jon, I'd be on a corner downtown wearing a short skirt.

Does jazz still fly the same dash 8-100's that I used to fly 30 years ago?
