Re: New Regs
That's awesome. 3 paid personal days
Quick breakdown:
Five days of personal leave, with three of those days paid
Requirement to provide 96 hours (4 days) advance notice of schedules
Four weeks of paid vacation after 10 years or more of service
Eliminating the length of service requirement for certain leaves, including parental leave
Complex equal pay rules for casual, part-time, temporary and seasonal employees
Businesses are crying wolf once again, look at Europe as an example of vacation time and personal days given.
Also 4 days notice of schedules?
Look at all the outcry from businesses, I find it comical.
Parental leave isn't paid for by the company so who cares.
people with 10 years should get 4 weeks vacation, and by 4 weeks it's really only 20 days.
Personal days can be denied and usually sick days are better than mandated so they'll just reduce sick days and replace them with deniable personal days.
And biggest, no contract flipping which constantly temporarily destroys a full time employee's life while they put a new companies logo on them and start from square one because salaries were becoming expensive. Trying to curtail paying people for the years they've accrued at the job.

No contract flipping. How would that apply to AC regional flying.
