medication & flying question

Post by dopey »

Can someone tell me where to find a list that details what over-the-counter and prescription medications are acceptable for pilot use in Canada on duty days, or how many hours before a flight certain meds can be taken? I checked the Transport Cda website and couldn't seem to find the info I need.

Thanks!

Your Doctor who does your yearly medical should be able to get you a list of what is acceptable and what isn't. He should not have you on anything that isn't.
If it is meds prescribed by your GP, explain your job and concerns and get him/her to check into it for you.
