I know small operations need to be productive...
But where do you draw the line?
When you have a thin logbook, and no other airline reference on the CV?
How do you get to choose your shade of lipstick when you arrive to work in the morning?

It's just business. All empires are built off the strong backs of the eager young folk. Now go clean the restrooms.

KY would reduce the pain, if we could still feel the pain!
But with lipstick, at least we'd look pretty before we get...

Some companies won't even spit on it before hand. Those are the ones to avoid.

I'm going to need more popcorn for this stupidity.

First step is to consult a dictionary. If you are an employer, it is your duty to "exploit" your employees. Did you perhaps mean "abuse"?

Exploit: n. An act or deed, especially a brilliant or heroic one.CID wrote:First step is to consult a dictionary.

Verb; to use selfishly for one's own ends:
employers who exploit their workers.
employers who exploit their workers.

It appears that D for Delux is a very unhappy EVAS employee and for the sake of his other workmates should probably just leave the company and go work at his dream job. Its obviously the first or second job you have ever had and you feel the world owes you something. You made the choice to join and nobody is forcing you to stay either.
I am not management and a quick review of my past posts should make that obvious.
So I will just sit back and wait for you to 'slam' this post but I assure you the bulk of the Avcanada members that have been reading your postings probably feel the same way I do on your bitterness.
Sure, I will be the first to agree that the sked and such is a tad brutal but I also know that if I do not want to 'play' the game the dealers are offering I can always walk away from the table.

It's true what ehbuddy(management) is saying, if you're that fed up with LEVAS, do yourself a favor and leave, nobody wants to here that bS*. Why not just come out and say what the problem is, it's not your real name, not gonna be fired next day! Just keep this in mind...watch what you say at work because there are several people there that drink alot of that pink, WHITE and green coolaid!
Re: Is it common for airlines to EXPLOIT their crews?
Surprise! I am not mgmt and those on the forum that know who I am can attest to that.
Re: Is it common for airlines to EXPLOIT their crews?
Any, ANY, company that has developed an "us against them" mentality when it comes to employees and management will eventually be destined to fail. No matter how big, or how small, and whatever the industry.
It doesn't matter who's fault it is, either bad mgmt or a number of bad/entitled employees that band together and poison an otherwise productive atmosphere, (Doesn't take much, sadly) must be quashed moving forward and the problem removed.
