We started that family tradition last year because of your post... .... and the hot buttered rum goes very well with it!

For those of you who have never heard "The Shepherd", it is a must listen for any aviation aficionado. I caught it by accident on CBC Radio about ten years ago, and it now is part of my holiday traditions. It also imparts a wonderful appreciation of radio drama - a lost art in this age of streaming video on demand.

Thank you. Caught it on the truck radio on the way home from the airport this year after getting back from another aviating tour just,in time for Christmas. Listened to it on the adf once. Great to know others enjoy. Happy holidays!

Was just thinking of this earlier tonight. Going to sit down with a glass of Christmas cheer, listen to this great story and reminisce of my days flying up north! I remember listening to this in crew housing on Christmas Eve!
