It is interesting. 5 new EMB-175s entry into service, April 1st '16. Announced last week.

I have no skin in this beyond casual observer and keeping a pulse on the industry, so why the new order and not more transfers from AC? Does this mean more short haul going to Sky rather than Jazz or being pulled from mainline in favour of widebody/long haul? Are regionals not at their CPA max with regards to mainline scope?

There is nothing at Mainline to transfer that meets the CBA scope requirements. Word is they are adding 5 767s to rouge to satisfy the ratio requirements for these 5 new EMBs. No word on new routes yet.
