Perhaps this has been discussed in detail elsewhere, was just leaving the office tonight on the north end and saw two new arrivals, making 3 Flair 737s on the north end near Skycharter at Pearson.

Anyone in the know, know what's going on?

Nope. Air Canada is doing both the NDP and Conservative campaign flying.

When I got to work I saw they were all gone, except 1.

Figured it wasn't New Leaf at that point.

yycflyguy, I believe you're incorrect. Flair Air is definitely flying PM Harper around. Compare flight numbers FLE201 - FLE209 for the past few days compared with his campaign stops.

Flair may have done some but we received a joint newsletter stating that AC will be doing it with A319s.

The Conservative and New Democratic Parties have each chartered an A-319 respectively from Air Canada for the duration of the campaign for the upcoming Federal Election.

Conservatives started using Flair at the beginning of the campaign but will be switching to AC soon if they haven't already. That was anyways the plan when the campaign started

All three of them are tripping over the financing aspect and current recession me thinks.

I was surprised to see Flair out here. While I think the easiest way to get into the market is via sub-charter, it definitely isn't the cheapest.

Probably a good idea to wait until the market recovers a bit before trying to launch a new product.
