I was pretty damn happy when Thompson lifted from 3/8 of a mile and I relieved myself of the thought of spending the night in Thicket Portage.

It's all about the small victories :D

To live off flying. Not the porshe nor the mansion but the tercel the appartment and the kraft. That's my dream. I currently work a ridiculous 120 hrs a week (of which 50 are duty hours) for 3 employers and I'm still living paycheck to paycheck, that my friends is the dream.

So that's where Britney stormed off to! Geez and all I said to her was "Do you think Christina might like to join us?".

I'll be happy when the pilots I work with finally get off their asses and work hard and not complain, because as we all know, there are 300 other pilots just waiting for their job. And willing to give it all they got to keep it!

300? Now that's a very conservative number, bet it's a whole lot higher than that!

I like toast too.

I just paid off my student loan… it was great!!

Any day in the air

But really… flying a 747-400. Unfortunate because that is unlikely to happen, but it’s what I really want.

I'll be happy when...I get to move to a town/city/hamlet/etc where there are single women between the ages of 14 and 50 who actually have jobs and weigh less than a King Air (full sets of teeth would be nice too, but beggars can't be choosers). cj

It's sad - or just perhaps indicative of the decline of civilization - that the highest that most pilots aspire to today, is to watch a computer fly a big cow of an airplane.

Do you think they flying will be enjoyable? Or is it just easy money that you think you're after?

I assume you are referring to me. No, it is not the money. I love that airplane; always have wanted to fly it. Three stories tall and almost a million pounds in the air.

I’m sorry that I don’t aspire to the same aviation goals as you, however that hardly deserves the little tirade that you have printed here. I in no way attack your goals. Not every job in aviation is for every pilot. There are many perfect jobs out there and that diversity makes aviation interesting for all of us.

Is it that you are really that unhappy about your lot in life, or is it that you are so narrow of mind that you cannot accept that people may want different things in life than you? Sad, very sad.

Oh well, maybe after a good day I'll be driving the Canyon home with the plasma tv in the back, a thousand bucks in my wallet and an Xtra- Large double cream in the coffee holder.

Whenever the roll up is on I always end up drinking way too much coffee. By the end of the day I have more runs then Whistler and shake like an 80 year old who just won Bingo, but that bike does look mighty fine. Oh well, maybe next time..
